  • A Hose Pipe is a flexible hollow tube designed to carry fluids from one location to another. Hose design is based on a combination of application and performance. Common factors are size, pressure rating, weight, length, straight hose or coil hose, and chemical compatibility.
  • The primary function of a regulator is to reduce high-pressure gas in a cylinder to a lower, usable level as it passes from the cylinder to a piece of equipment. A regulator is not a flow control device. It is used to control delivery pressure only. Regulators have a diaphragm, which is a flexible rubber disc that responds to pressure changes and functions to regulate the flow of gas to the proper pressure.
